is there any asian chinese moving to Perth/Melbourne/Sydney for more than a period of 2 years after arriving.

I am planning to go on mid jan 2008 but I am worried that I can't find any friends and I will miss my friends. Life to restart again, everything difficult culture.

I don't think it matters what nationality/race/religion you are, it's hard and no mistake. All I can say is if you put yourself out there and make an effort you will make some damn good friends, some ok friends and some 'oh god I never want to see them again' people.

Try not to compartmentalise the people you want to meet, be friendly and you'll be fine.:D

I just curiously. I just like to meet all race. I just pretty worried I can't find new friends because I have no relative.

I like to make new friends there.

You'll be fine providing you get out and join stuff. Sitting at home (which is the easiest option) won't work, no one will come to you. Find clubs that interest you, and join. Talk to people whilst out shopping etc you'll be amazed at how friendly people can be. Some folks on here have been invited to christmas dinner with people at the checkout on a shopping trip.:D
