Thank you Ceri!!!!
On Ceri's suggestion, a scouring of the shelves in BiLo has taken place.......and produced JAFFA CAKES!!!!!!!! The Bloke is in despair, we now have a cupboard full of them!!!
About $3 a packet, very slightly smaller than the UK version, but almost indistinguishable.
They also do......"Made in the UK" Whole Wheat Biscuits....yep, Weetabix! And PG Tips, and Colman's English Mustard.
Try the International food section, they are all perched incongruously among the curry powders!
I take it all back, I love BiLo

Ulujain, I know just how you feel - everything here seems to have the nasty stuff in it, and MIL dishes it up whenever we go there, feel I have to eat it to be polite.
I will not be allowing the nasty stuff anywhere NEAR my Jaffa Cakes

Jaffa Cakes.....how do YOU eat yours?
I have to bite the chocolate and yummy orangey bit off first....then finish off with the lovely spongy bit....mmmmmm
I'm the same with cadbury mini-rolls....I have to eat all the chocolate on the outside first, then the edges....then I unwrap it...eat the creamy/jammy filling then eat the spongy bit.

I'm talking about the ones that turn into complete slop when they get soaked in milk. Look like baby poo and taste divine. Those Weetabix?
