I'd try Dan Murphy's - pretty good chance you'll find it there. If they don't have it try 1st choice.

It might be old stock though with wifies called Mandy in swimsuits on the side!

Edit: just found this http://www.beerstore.com.au/detail.asp?beerID=527

Why? Surely you want to try some decent lager? (and that's coming from someone who always drank the cooking lager back home)

Have you had a look at this website?

http://www.beersgalore.com

They will import Tennents lager anywhere in the world. Have to be honest though the aussie beers defo beat the vile metallic taste of tennents.

I'd rather drink my own asparagus tainted wee, than tennents.

I do miss a greenmantle ale though

Did you have a look at the links G? Some good English bottled beers but didn't look at prices

Yes....but I am really only interested in Bottle conditioned beers (in the absence of 'real ale').....being interested in good wine you probably understand.

the only 'bottle conditioned' British Ale I have seen here is 'Worthington White label (shield)' which is very expensive.

Most of the Cooper's range is pretty good as well as 'little creatures' and a few more but, apart from the Coopers, they are all prohibitively expensive in Queensland.

Sadly all the 'draught' beer around here is sterilised keg beer......that includes 'Old Speckled Hen' et. al. when it can be found.

I see what you mean. I tend to stick to coopers and quite like the dark ale
