Default Temporary Accommodation in Sydney

Hi, I will travel to Sydney for a couple of weeks to validate my visa sometime in late Feb or early March. We are a couple with a 2yr child. I looked up at some of the hotels online and it looks quite expensive. Well, I want to minimize costs during this validation trip. Could anyone suggest some alternative accommodation?

Hi
Check out Kalili beach house. Its in bulli about an hour or so south of sydney. We stayed there with our son 6 months old in oct 07 for a couple of weeks. Its a really nice place area with a super beach and rock pools easy to get into sydney as the town has a train station. It might seem a bit far out of sydney but it is ok.We traveled into the city most days and wollongong is only 20 minutes the other direction. If you check the web site it will give you prices.
