Temperamental searching

Temperamental searching
Has anyone experienced problems in the past with the search facility at BritishExpats.com?
For example, I did the following searches (without quotes) on the Australia & New Zealand Culture & Lifestyle forum and got the following results:
"Melbourne" - 7 threads
"Sydney" - 5 threads
"Perth" - 150 threads
Didn't seem quite right.
I was actually after some info on Singapore but it only returned 2 threads. I know for certain there's been loads more posts on Singapore.
For example, I did the following searches (without quotes) on the Australia & New Zealand Culture & Lifestyle forum and got the following results:
"Melbourne" - 7 threads
"Sydney" - 5 threads
"Perth" - 150 threads
Didn't seem quite right.
I was actually after some info on Singapore but it only returned 2 threads. I know for certain there's been loads more posts on Singapore.

Incidentally, I did try to help myself by searching for "search" on all forums on BritishExpats, but that returned 1712 threads - sod that

Plus my cookies don't work, so I find it hard to monitor what I've replied to!

Yes, i've had problems too. Typed in IT and it said no matches. Doh???

I've had awful problems with it lately - used to be better I'm sure. I've searched for threads that I know are there, and come up blank several times. Ggggrrrrrrrr!
