Default temp furnished accom??

Hi,

Does anyone know of any web sites or contacts who deal in temp furnished accommodation. We are moving to Melbourne later in the year but dont want to sign up for a 1 year lease, so would prefer something more short term to begin with.

Cheers

Not sure about Victoria, but in NSW many residential leases are 6 month based.
However, most are unfurnished.

If you want anything less that 6 months then you need to think about a serviced
apartment (which will generally be furnished) and per-week costs tend to rise rapidly
as the term gets shorter.

Try this webpage, for short term serviced accommodation :

http://www.parkave.com.au/index.htm

Not cheap though...

Cheers, Paul.
