Does anyone know if you can have your number taken out of the white pages and how?

You can apply for a private number. One of my sons did that because customers kept ringing his home phone, at all hours, when his workshop was closed.

:confused:Err, I think that is designed to stop telemarketers ringing you!!!
It has nothing to do with removing your number from the directory.

I assume he had his private number listed as an alternate contact number for his business? If so, it was his fault for listing it with his business number.

Yes I do know what he was asking for as I can contemplate english language but I thought the poster would maybe like that as well, perhaps?

His home number was not listed with his business number. People do look up the white pages you know!! No fault of his at all, but everything is sweet since he got a silent home number. :p
