Default television engineers in oz

Please could anyone help regarding brit tellies working in oz. Anyone know anything about getting them altered once your there ? Have been told this is poss.Just depends on whether they us vhs or uhs.

Did the thread I pointed to yesterday not help?

Here's a summary.....

If you're tv has a PAL B option (some do) then it will work.
If not, conversion in oz - approx $60-$80.
Or just use an oz video through a scart lead and telly will now work, but you can't record a channel you're not watching.
