telephone interview
i have been looking at the aussie timeline site and noticed that some people have an interview over the phone before a visa is issued, as we are awaiting a responce from AHC we may get a phonecall, has anyone had an one and if so what did they want to know?
every time the phone rings here now we are putting on our best "hello" telephone voice only to find it is somebody calling from a call centre in india trying to flog us insurance.

I think it's usually just to confirm details on some matter or other, nothing completely serious (after all, how would they know it's you, if you see what I mean). Didn't AnthonyKirby have one of these? Someone did - they just had to confirm something on the form, then were told that they had received the visa there and then.
