Telecoms problems?
Is anyone here having trouble with either phone cards making calls *out* of Oz, or with telediscount making calls *to* Oz?
We bought a phone card about six weeks ago when we were in Sydney. Supposed to be valid for four months from the date of first usage. We used it for a couple of weeks then it suddenly stopped working. We were dialling the access number in Sydney, and getting the message that our card wasn't valid. We've tried it a couple of times since coming to WA but it still won't work. We had about 380 minutes left on it too...
We gave the telediscount number to our parents when we left the UK, and that too worked for a couple of weeks but the past two weeks, my in-laws have been having lots of problems with it. They dial the number for TD, then try ringing the access number for Oz, just to be told that the access number is no longer available.
Is anyone else having trouble with these services or are we doing something hopelessly wrong here?
