Default Telecommunications Engineer - licence in Aus?

Hi
Does anyone know if my husband will need a trade licence and if so how we go about it ?

I'm confused by all this licence stuff now.

To become an electrical engineering technician you usually have to complete a certificate or diploma in electrical engineering, engineering technology or drafting and design skills. Entry to the certificate and diploma courses usually requires completion of Year 12. Contact the institution for full details.
