Default Teccy question for trades

Does anyone know what power, site work is done at in Oz? ie site work in UK is 110volts. Only asking as I need to know if I can take certain power tools over.
Thanks

I brought all my 110v tools and a couple of transformers they all sit in the garage collecting dust now as I cannot get them through the test and tag scheme that runs here in QLD and in NSW.
Most chippies use compressor driven nailers etc. a few use the plaslode nailers though. All tools must be tested & tagged every 3 months here in QLD 1 month in NSW. They must all be used through a portable safety switch {residual current device} you can buy one for approx $140 bucks.
Do a search on power tools there have been a lot of threads on the subject.
http://www.eso.qld.gov.au/publicat/index.htm will give you info for QLD, I tried googling for "testing and tagging" on australian google and it looks like there are simlar schemes in Victoria and South Australia.
Good luck
