thanks for webgum. i think that once my little one starts at school, i will try and help out there most days. i did try to do this with my sons class (he is 9), but as i had my daughter to look after, i couldnt dedicate my time to them on a regular basis. as i will be free for 5 days a week from the end of january, this should help me and them. although i am a little hesitant in helping out in my daughters class, as although she is a confident girl and will happily go off, once i am within the vicinity, she gets very clingy and wants to sit with me all the time. maybe i could help out in another kindy class.

mmm, i've seen that, but nothing is mentioned for TA's. i have e-mailed them this week, so i will see what their reply says, if i get one!

thanks for that. i have already spoken to hays, as they placed an advert about having a list for TA's to do short term work. this however is just for sydney area (i am semi-rural NSW), and isnt really set up yet. she has taken my details. i will contact select and hays local offices next week.
