Tea - yes I know it's sad but.....
I'm a bit fussy about tea and struggle to drink anything except Sainsburys Red Label!
We are off to Gold Coast in 7 weeks time and I wondered whether it was worth bringing some with me (on the plane, not in shipped container). I know that you have to declare it when you go through customs so what I was wondering is;
Is it worth bringing?
Will they allow it in?
Will they charge me import duties on it?
If I can bring a couple of 400 bag packets with me than it might last till we get our first visitors next year! Sad I know,but you have to have some creature comforts in life!
Thanks

I don't know about bringing it with you, but I am also fussy with my tea. The only one I will drink over here is Twinnings English Breakfast tea, not cheap but worth it for a good cuppa.

Yup, tea is definitely different (blend etc) - weaker. I have found that Dilmah extra strong is just about bearable, but I do force all guests to bring huge boxes of Clipper with them when they come over.
