Default Taxation v Health/Education Spending

MORE than three in five voters in key Queensland marginal seats would be prepared to forgo tax cuts if it meant more money was spent on health and education, an exclusive The Courier Mail-TNS poll has found.

However:
The greatest opposition to rejecting tax cuts comes from full-time workers.

My preference would be that the Government redirected its expensive Medicare advertising campaign (why so much government advertising, is there an election coming up?) back into Medicare services. How many times do I need to be told that Medicare has changed just a little bit?

I agree completely. It seems like this type of thing happens every few years? About the same time that Elections happen, quite a co-incedence, yes ?
