Question Tax on shipping verses Air cargo ??

Hi,
Done a search but can't find anything !!! Just wondered how much the difference was in Taxes
we have an opportunity to send very cheaply our boxes by air cargo as we are not taking any big furniture !!But Hubby thinks the taxes will be extortionate does anyone know the answer to this question

No difference. We shipped some by sea and some by air (both with John Mason). Both go through AQIS and customs in the same way.

Don't know what you mean by "taxes"??? There is no tax to pay on bringing your personal belongings to Oz (Unless you bring something you've owned for less than 12 months - in which case you're supposed to declare it). Doesn't matter if you bring your stuff in by ship or air.
