Tax issues in owning a property in the UK ?
Hi,
For anyone who has a property in the Uk or a savvy tax accountant.
We are considering purchasing a property in Scotland as a base and wondered what tax implication that has on our tax return at the end of the year over here and in the UK,if we where positively geared and earned money from renting it out.
If it does impact dramatically are there any legal ways of avoiding this?
Any help would be appreciated

Your best bet is to find a good tax accountant...unfortunately they don't seem to exist here in Australia
