How long does it take to get a Tax no once you get to Australia

can take anything upto 28 days, ours too about 3 weeks, from applying on line to the letter with the number on

You can apply on line, but you need to be in Australia first. Took a week or two to arrive, do you have a postal address in mind when you arrive? You will need one.

We are staying with a friend for first 2 weeks untill we can find a rental .... Will the friends address do for the time being
