tax calcualtion - employed and self employed
 

Hi all

trying to get my head around what all this tax return stuff is. I know I need to visit a tax person to go through my tax for being employed, but I also teach fitness classes and have registered with a ABN number which I take will need a tax calculation separately.

What sort of costs are associated with having your tax done at the end of the tax year for self employed and employed.

Also whilst I am on this subject how do I go about finding a good tax person who knows about my entitlements for the fitness profession.

any ideas or suggestions most gratefully received.

I have been on several sites including www.ato.gov.au site but have only been able to find limited information
