Individual income tax rates
Married man, single man, married woman, single woman = $6,000 tax free allowance.
Stamp Duty Calculator
However, latest NSW changes to stamp duty:
April 7, 2004
The cost of a first home will fall by up to $18,000 after the NSW Government eradicated stamp duty for most first home buyers yesterday.
Under the new system, first homes costing up to $500,000 will be free of stamp duty. The concession phases out between $500,00 and 600,000

Try these web sites they may help you to work out what you will be entitled to
http://www.mortgagestore.com.au/tax.htm - if you put in the amount you think you will earn it will tell you what you will bring home each month
http://www.centrelink.gov.au/interne...e_families.htm - go to the bottom, double click on family assistance estimator and again put it what you think you will earn
Hope this helps and Good luck - by the way, where are you hoping to go to?
