I was wondering if anyone on BE's had sampled the fare as from the article it seems to be a limited edition, not distributed widely type of beer. I dare say they'll brew more of it now and capitalise on their accolade. (I remember when I was on holidays in Tassie as a child and the Cascade Brewery was destroyed in the bushfires - I reckon the tears shed put out the fires!)

There are some good micro breweries poppling up. Squires and Coopers are increasingly available on tap so things are looking up. I have not seen the Autumn Amber in the shops but I will keep my eyes out.
Next big thing is Bondi Beer although it is brewed in Newcastle! tastes a bit like James Boags which is great chilled on a hot day.

Could not agree more! Boags and Cascade are fantastic beers and Tassie has a long history of quality beer.
Coopers from SA is very good too.
