Can Anyone Advise On Tassies Venomous And Poisonous Creatures!
Im Assumming That Theres Little Differance To The Mainland.
Thanks In Advance For Any Info.

Well, a mate of mine got bitten by an ant - think it was called a jack jumper and he was in a bad way and he had to be given adrenalin etc and was hospitalised :scared: Dont know if this is a typical reaction to this type of bite though.

No redback spiders, no funnelwebs, in fact only the White tail, which may or may not have a bite that causes necrosis (there is a lot of debate on the subject). They have Huntsman spiders....very large (plate sized) but not deadly.
Snakes - they have the Copperhead, the Tiger Snake, and the white lipped snake , all venomous.
The duck-billed platypus has a nasty sting, but you'll be lucky to see one, never mind get stung by it.
No crocs or sharks either
