Hi

Happy Easter :D

Have just had a few days oop North! We stayed near Lonnie and visited several places, ate lots of chocolate at the House of Anvers in Latrobe and tasted some lovely raspberries at the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm. We drove along to Mole Creek National Park and had a long enough walk to justify stamping our parks pass (the kids are on a mission to get them all stamped!) but best of all was Narawntapu National Park - we got there at about 3pm, had a lovely walk to the beach which was just stunning (and completely deserted) and then at dusk we saw lots of wombats which was ace:D

Start work tonight so hope I can stay awake ok!

Hobart Private Hospital, in the maternity unit.

How are you?

I'm okay, my Mum is up in Royal Hobart and I've spent half my Easter up there.

Hope your first night goes well!!! You'll be fine.

Hi Sam, glad you had a nice break away. :) All the places you visited sound great.
Good Luck for your 1st night at work today.:thumbup:

Forgot to say - we gave notice to our estate agent on saturday. In 14days time we can sign up with another one. Houses near us that are all with local based agents still are now all showing sold signs.

Cathy :)

Hi Corinne, we're with the same agent at the moment as your brother sold with. Problem we've had with them is that they closed the Collier Row office just a couple of week's after we signed with them - so now they're handling our sale out of the GideaPark office - so i think that's affected the number of viewings we've had - as you're from the same area as me - i'm not being funny but if someone goes into the G.Park office looking at houses you've obviously got enough money to live in G.Park & wouldnt be interested in the Mawney's area instead - i know i wouldnt be! Your right though - definitely seeing loads more sold signs about which is good...Prices seem to have stopped falling now as well thankfully. :)

Yes, we loved it at Narawntapu, might look at camping there sometime :)

My first 2 shifts were an eye opener, won't ever knock the NHS again! Not sure I'll be there for long, too outdated, too understaffed and too much subservient to the obstetricians, no wonder Australia has such a high rate of interventions in child birth.

Thanks, not sure I can stick it for long but the money will be nice

A lot of staff are employed on even less hours than me (40hours a fortnight) so I may ask to do less hours if I really can't bear it after a couple of months, at least there would still be a little extra cash coming in that way. They are also being difficult about letting me have 2 weeks annual leave in July, as they said I have not accrued any leave yet but I told them about this at my interview.

It's certainly very different here ..........

Yeah do agree Cathy, my bro lives in Marshalls Park which is handles by the Gidea Park office so he had no problem although viewers were very slow. Think you are right to go with one with offices in collier row and romford to cover both bases. Will keep all crossed for you. x
