Taking your mobile to Oz
Does any know if dual band phones will work in Australia?
#2
Yes they do !!!
I work for the Mobile Phone manufacturing divison of Motorola and we have shipped literally 100,000's dual band phones to Australia.
And if anybody has any of the new quadband or 3G phones, yes they work also so you can take them as well (altho the 3G network is still a bit limited in remoter areas)
Regards
