Smile Taking money over

Apologies for the personal question, Q. 24 (47sK) asks how much currency you are taking. How much roughly do people take if they are not selling a house, or more importantly does it matter to the DIMIA with regard to obtaining a visa?
Thanks

I was told by my agent to put an honest amount down.He said if you put eg £38 they would question how you were going to live on arrival.Ithink it has not got to be a great amount but enough to get you by for housing food ect until you find work.Hope this helps nikki

In most circumstances your agent is quite right.
Some visas do have a condition attached for deposit of money, some also require an Assurance of Support. If your agent thought this would apply to you, he would have told you, so don't panic.
