Taking money into the country - Form 47Sk
Hi all,
Fairly new to expats and have to say, what a fantastic site!!!
Could someone please let me know what they mean on the above form when they ask 'How much money you intend to bring into the country'. Do they mean physical cash on your person as you enter the country or the total amount of money you will be transferring from UK to Oz dollars. A bit confused!!
Help!
Emma

Hi Emma
Welcome to the forum. I think they mean the total amount of $$$ you will be bringing, so if you have equity from house sale etc. It doesnt need to be exact, they just want a ballpark figure.
