Default Taking meds -tablets into Australia/Singapore?

Hello,

Kids are on meds, and one is on a fair few tablets per day(got a rare condition). So will be bringing a couple of months supply of each tablet. Spending a two weeks in Perth first, before moving to house.

Any restrictions or banned medication in Australia? Dont want to bring anything over that Im not supposed to.

*Also flying via Singapore with 2 hours stop at airport. Anything not allowed at Singapore.

Anyone know and can tell me banned medications I can take to Perth, and via Singapore airport please

If I were you I'd pack them in the suitcases and try to have some sort of letter/prescription from your GP stating who and what they are for. That way your covered.
I brought over my daily regular medication in my hand luggage. I could explain what they were for if asked but no-one questioned it at all! ( either in Dubai,Singapore OR Australia! )

All the best.

Most drugas are not an issue. Only controlled drugs. Don't know what your child is on but for instance some antiepileptics are controlled drugs. As someone mentioned best to get a letter fromyour dr or use the repeat list and make sure they are in original packs with the pharmacy label on.

Thanks, for input.

We have medical letters saying what conditions are, so hoping this will be ok.

Declare them on entry to Aus, and show the letter, they may ask what they are for. That way, even if the stuff is comepletely OK at least you have shown you are aware that you are carrying it, and you are just covering yourself.
