Taking dog back to the UK - Blood Test?

Taking dog back to the UK - Blood Test?
I seem to recall the dog needs a blood test 6 months before entering the UK, can anyone confirm?

You must have your dog micro-chipped, rabies jab then blood tested around 30 days (Titre test at approved Lab). If everything OK, you can then bring your dog in after 6 months from the test I believe. It must be done in that order though. So... it all takes about 7 months. If you go to www.defra.gov.uk website it will give you all the information you need.
