Question Taking Antiques with us

We have alot of antiques at home with a large percentage being Liberty Pewter and Art Nouveau items, would we be better off selling some before we go or is there a market for them in Aus.

personally i thought antiques was a question of taste, so if you like them and want to keep them then ship them over. however if your doing it for financial gain then you'll have to do some research into the markets there.

There are lots of antique dealers in Perth, not sure where it is you're going but it's the same all over OZ. Although they don't have that much history there were plenty of antiques shipped out all those years ago.

We went to a brilliant antiques fair thats held on the Perth Showground, I picked up a few bargains.
If you want to sell it when you get there then you'll still get the price you want.

We were advised to take them. The reason Australia is a young country and aniques are not in the same supply as we have here, which means even if we don't have room for them when we get there we will be able to sell them on. Apparently it's a sellers market
