unless you are planning on living naked when you move, you will definitely need a dryer.

I find that the nudist look doesn't always go down so well in Perth's CBD. It could be a different story in Brisbane, though.

You don't need one in summer but in winter when it's pissing rain you will really wish you had one - so if there is room put it in the container. I didn't take ours and wish I had now.

Take it but fill the inside with packs of Bisto and Marmite and sell them on the expat black market. Maybe some M & S pants. Even better, If you bring S & M pants, Broad Shoulders will snap them up....

Yes bring. Crunchy towels may be good for some but I for one refuse point blank to dry them outside.

Interesting...why would you send a dryer halfway around the world...can't you buy them in Aus?

Towels, jeans and socks MUST be dried in the dryer. Sheets and my old fella's white work shirts have to go outside in the fresh air. Nothing better than clean sheets that have been dried out in the fresh air.

Yup. But if you have a good one and are filling a container anyway why not throw it in?

:D Because you have a new(ish) one and because a large container is going anyway filled with all your other possessions. The power supply is the same in Aus as in the UK so everything works.
