I doubt very much whether my stuff is worth the 3K it'll cost to ship a container and from what I can work out, without a converter, most of the electrical stuff is useless! (could be wrong) So it's only really beds and dining room furniture and they were from Ikea anyway!!!
Got to think of the pennys, this is costing a fortune even without an agent!!
The question is do I really want to move to a new house with my old stuff or buy new? yet another thing that can keep me awake at night!!

Most of your electrical stuff will work here. You just have to change the plug!! Only a very few TV and video's can deal with Ozzie TV, but you can have them converted very cheaply if you have a "treasured TV". Have brought all our stuff, washing machine, computers, fridge, freezer, microwave, etc and all work perfectly.

If you are taking your electrical stuff such as hifi, computer etc, take some 4 way (or more) extension cables, it saves changing loads of plugs. You only need to change one.
And if you got anti surge so much the better, especially for computer. If you are going to Perth (not sure about rest of OZ) after your first storm you will be glad of the anti surge. !!!

Useless question really?
What is every one doing with their lofts full of rubbish you know clothes you no longer where, kids stuff from school, endless games you never play.
Will you take it or will you bin it?

Either sell on Loot, send to charity shop, or get a skip. !!
No point taking stuff with you to stick back in a loft.

I am planning on only taking one or two items of furniture with me, along with ornaments and pictures, etc. We are hopefully going to sell or give away almost everything else.
Our theory is, a new life, a new country - a chance to buy new stuff!
