Hi Andy

you could use the ATO's simple tax calculator http://calculators.ato.gov.au/script...xcalc/main.asp

Hi

I wsa told by my financial advisor that 50K equates to aprox 3,300 take home per month. Don't forget that if you have kids and are on permanent residency visa you are also entitled to rent rebate and child tax credits - ours on combined income of 50k for rest of financial year with 2 kids and $400 a week rent comes to aprox $200 per fortnight

Good luck with it all
