This link may help

http://www.tga.gov.au/docs/html/bringmed/intoaust.htm

I would suggest taking any you need in the original boxes with a pharmacy label on them. Any you've bought over the counter could have different rules but still have them in the original boxes if possible.

Only take what you will need on the flight in your hand-luggage, pack the rest in your suitcases.

The link above has the medications with their 'real' name instead of their more common name, so check the labels! ;)

Hi

As well as checking the Oz website check other countries too (dependant on where you are flying via). I believe (please correct if I am wrong) that Codeine - which is in some over the counter pain relief tablets is illegal in Dubai (and maybe others) ie - Cocodamol, solpadol etc

Best to bin the codeine then if you're going through the middle east. Am I right in thinking is it from the opiate drug family? Is that why it's banned?
