Unhappy sympathy for andyedwards and family

They posted on here two nights ago saying how the shippers were packing up their stuff, the house was being emptied and they were off to friends for the last couple of nights before they fly out to start their new life on Saturday.

Their house sale has fallen through today. Their buyers dropped their offer by £20,000!!!!! Bastards

OMG that is bloody awful - the buyers were obviously trying it on thinking that they`d get away with it if the packers there(talk about trying to back people into a corner- total nightmare)

Bummer. Had they exchanged? Unfortunately with the English house buying/selling routine is as it is, this happens all too often

Oh no!!!!!
Andy and Sharon, I just dont know what to say. I know how I would feel that's for sure. Hope you had at least exchanged and keep their bloody deposit!
I just dont know how people can live with themselves doing this kind of thing to people.
Keeping my fingers crossed that it comes together and that they are just trying it on.

Sharon

Oh that is just terrible news.Poor Andy and Sharon. When the flip are the government going to tighten up the rules in this country on buying and selling houses so that people cannot get away with this kind of thing.

Makes me think twice about letting buyers know the real reason why we are selling our house.

If you speak to them again, Anne, let them know we're all thinking about them.

That's bloody awful.

We aren't telling anyone why we're selling.

We're actually a long way off that yet, but I agree Wendy, perhaps it best not to say anything when the time comes.

B****R! I assume they had exchanged contracts in which case they should keep the buyers deposit shouldn't they?

We have told our buyers we're building a house in Wales which except from the location isn't a total lie!

Good luck guys. Hope you can get it sorted.
