Sydney's Mardi Gras to honour Little Britain's Daffyd
Organisers of next month's Sydney Mardi Gras are to honour Little Britain's Daffyd Thomas.

The group of gay and lesbians plan to dress up as Matt Lucas' character.

Organisers are planning a surprise Daffyd routine with several dozen members of Sydney's gay and lesbian community expected to dress as the "only gay in the village"

ha ha ha I'm not going to be in it, but have always missed it the times I've been here so would really like to go this year. Hubbie said he won't go but I would just like to go for the party atmosphere.

You should go, it is a great laugh/spetacle if you've got an open mind.
This time last year we waitied in all day for Ikea to deliver our furniture. It brings back bad memories - they blamed it on the Mardi Gras. I asked if the drivers were taking part. It didn't go down too well!

Sounds great & I like to think I have an open mind & don't get shocked by most things "different". I think I will go this year, if the hubbie won't go, I'll get him to pick me & the girls up when we're smashed....that'll teach him!!

It was hilarious, Im amazed they can get away with some of that stuff.
I like the women at the health club :scared:
And the one tasting the food.
Superb, makes you realise how much good british TV humour we probably miss out on.

lol saw it last night, what a laugh

Graham went to Mardi Gras in Sydney years back and said it was fab.......he's missing Sydney, will need a trip over from Perth this year
