Hi Karen,

As some others have said renting a furnished house can be difficult unless you go for holiday rentals. It depends how long you are looking to rent for..... We rented an unfurnished house and rented the basics until our things arrive. We rented our furniture from Phd Rentals, they do house packages and you can even hire linen packages and kitchen packages. We found them very helpful, even when we had arranged for them to come and collect their things and then found out our things had been delayed by quarantine they were accommodating and came a week later instead.

Only thing I will say is that we found that 'good' rental properties got snapped up quickly. The agent took a deposit for one property whilst we were still looking around it! We also found that generally properties would go up for rental about 2 weeks prior to you being able to move in...
