Sydney relo
Hi all, myself and my young family (kids of 6 & 7) will soon be relocating to Sydney. Would appreciate any views on great, family orientated costal suburbs to live which are no more than 45 mins commute from CBD on public transport please.
Cost of property probably excludes us from commutes under 15 mins. Appreciate everyone has different taste, but would really appreciate some insights. Many Thanks |

I would start centrally and work your way out following the coast. use domain.com.au or realestate.com.au to find a house. Punch the address into Google and the address you are working in the CBD and it will display travel times. Here you go, close to central, Ask the landlord if you can paint the retro kitchen. http://www.domain.com.au/24-eurimbla...-2031-10928271 If you go further out you will get better bang for your buck. |
Re: Sydney relo
For me it would be Manly, but people either love Manly or hate it. If you can rent a place within 15 minutes walk of the wharf, you can get into the CBD on the ferry every day. Some will tell you Manly is not a family place, but others will tell you it has good schools and great for families. It really depends what you are looking for. Parking in central Manly isn't easy though, which is why you need to be in walking distance of the wharf.

Re: Sydney relo
Sorry can't offer any advice on Sydney suburbs. I can offer some advice on speaking Strayan though, a relo in Australia is someone you're related to. I thought this thread was finding a long lost relo in Sydney hehe.
