SYdney/NSW IT work - not CBD
Can someone with local knowledge help me please
We'd like NSW but I don't want to work in CBD for Sydney, need somehting quite senior - enterprise architect position
Is all the IT work in NSW centered in Sydney's CBD ?
or is there some in some of the suburbs etc - akin to the centres around the Thames Valley and M62 corridor in the UK?

There are IT companies all over Sydney - Parramatta, Burwood, Bondi Junction, North Sydney, Pennant Hills etc but the most popular area for IT would probably be North Ryde where a lot of IT companies are located.

Macquarie Park in North Ryde has lots of IT work. About 25 mins from CBD it has good transport links to central Sydney and beyond....

And there's always Wollongong. Wouldn't want to live there, but it has a strong IT sector.
