Sydney CBD Thursday Night Drinks - Nov 15th
 

Hey Folks,

This week our watering hole is brought to us by the Letter 'N' - and to be fair it's pretty slim pickings. We've also got Dorothy visiting from afar, so trying to keep a Sydney CBD theme leaves us with pretty much one choice: The New Windsor Hotel, at 48 Park Street, on the corner of Park and Castlreagh:

I'm not sure if we've ever been here before - if we have, I certainly don't remember it. But it looks clean and tidy enough, so let's give it a try.

(Princio - thanks for the North Sydney Suggestions - i have got The Ragg and Famish locked in for R and the Treehouse for T, so that's a couple on the North Side. I did have a look at The North Sydney Hotel for this week, but it's a mightly long walk from the station, and they have a quiz night on on a Thursday, which i thought may be annoying.)

Yeah I know it. I think it could turn into Jacksons MK II but I guess I've never been there for an expats night.

This place used to have 'toss the boss' on tuesdays and thursdays 6 -7pm

You could buy up to 4 drinks and then flip a coin with the barman - if you win you get your drinks free.

Haven't been there for a while though so not sure if they still do it.

There's one called Oscars just up a bit from the PBH. Not sure if it's any good.

Vix suggested the Occidental this time, as we've been to the Rocks the last couple of weeks.

You mean Oscars in Pyrmont - we could give that a try - I'm easy Oscars or Occidental...
