Sydney CBD Thursday Night Drinks - January 28th 2010
Well, it is with a heavy heart that I type this thread. This week is Briwi's last Thursday night drinks for at least 18 months, as she is heading back off to sunny England for some European shenanigans.
Briwi has been an almost constant figure in the Thursday Night Drinks clan for the last couple of years, and will be sadly missed.
but let's not be sad, let's go out and celebrate the fact that we have made such a great friend while she's been here! 
As tradition dictates, the person whose last night it is gets to choose the venue, and she has chosen the Hotel Chambers, in Martin Place:

They have good beer and great food, and hopefully the weird DJ will be there again too!
So I hope to see you all on Thursday night to wave the [not so] old girl off on her exciting European tour!

Oh did I not say I was busy this week......
No I will be there, mascara brush ready for retouches....and attempting valiantly to stay sober as I have to shift about 20 boxes Friday morning - that wasn't hugely well planned now was it.

Bubble is still patent pending, and a certain Essex man won't buy me an elephant so that's out too...I'm thinking perhaps the bus.

I was going to come along tonight and let you all buy me a drink in celebration of my PR being granted yesterday, but unfortunately I now need to be somewhere else.
