Hi All,

The next port of call on our Geographical tour of Sydney pubs is going to be an old favourite - The Australian Hotel at the top of The Rocks.

The Australian Hotel

This has long been a favourite for Thursday Evening Drinks, and featured as the first stop on the Alphabet tour. They sport a range of good local and imported beers, and a great menu that differs from the usual Sydney pub fodder. Check out the pizzas and kangaroo pie.

So, let's all meet there from 6:30 on Thursday and see how it goes. We will try to reserve an area, only last time they managed to completely foul it up, so I'm not holding my breath!

Lately it's taken on a life of it's own - a couple of weeks back we had 31, and last week we had 22, so we usually budget for about 20.

I will be there briefly on Thurs as I am having to save money for the weekend... speaking of which, for those of you who have not made yourselves known on facebook yet we are having a mini pub crawl around Paddington (for a very special occasion) this Saturday 7th - all are welcome to join in, here is the schedule...

8.00pm - The Royal, 237 Glenmore Rd, Paddington
9.00pm - Durty Nelly’s, 9 Glenmore Rd, Paddington
11pm - Fringe Bar, 106 Oxford St, Paddington or possibly onto Spectrum on Oxford Street....

I cannot guarentee that we will be strict on the timings so if you are planning on coming along mid way through the crawl and don't already have my mobile number then drop me a PM and I will give you the details...
