I thought it was time to get this week's thread off to a start, so here we go.

In keeping with our theme of pubs with a location in the title, this week's pub will be The Brooklyn, on George Street:

On Thursday nights they are offering half price cocktails, and complimentary fizzy wine between 7 and 8. There is also a Thai restaurant which does nice food there.

Shame you couldn't make it - you missed the Tooheys Extra Dry for $3.50 a schmiddy.

Mental note to self. Never ever EVER drink Tooheys Extra Dry again...
