Sorry for the very late post - I've had my mind on other things this week :) As it's an emergency, somewhere central and known is a good plan, plus it looks like it will rain later on, so I have suggested The Royal George at 320 George Street, in the CBD:

Looks like new pies on the food menu, so definitely worth a try!

I'll be there - in need of a beer or two this week. Looks like the weather has proven me to be a liar too - The sun is shining, and it's all rather pleasant now...
