Swimming Pool Filters
My pool has the filters that look like long, skinny carburetor air filters.
They need removing once a month or so and hosing down!
Anyway, pool shop told me that they need degreasing once a year and the price was quite high.
Does anyone know what this degreasing involves as I may attempt to do myself.
I have full access to all chemicals and knowledge of how to use safely.
Thanks
Andrew

Re: Swimming Pool Filters
I think they are similar to the ones on our old pool - we were never told to do anything with them except hose them out.

It's an acid that you use, Hydrochloric I think. H2o3
The one that they use in Dairy lines, leaves no residual. stand to be corrected on the name of the Acid, but it is H2o3,..... Tip cheapest place to get this expensive stuff, is at a Farm suppliers, or stock feed suppliers.
