Swapped my house for money!
Hi all,
My house sale completed yesterday, the settlement cheque arrived in the post today!
I'm at my mum's now until 7 September when we fly out to Adelaide via New York/Las Vegas/Hawaii/Sydney (mum's coming with me for the trip), arriving on 21 Sept.
All very real now and yet still feels like a dream!
All the best to everyone, whatever stage you're at - it will happen for you too...

If you don't mind me asking who did you book your flights with. I have been asking for quotes via USA without much response.

I booked with Travelbag in the end as they came up with the cheapest quote but also had a good quote from Redfern Travel who arranged my 3 previous trips to Aus, via Singapore.
www.redfern-travel.com or call them on 01274 733551.
I set out the stopovers and dates I wanted and asked them to come up with flight details and costs.
