Default Sunshine Coast to Gold Coast

For a one off commute at peak time, how long will this take ? Southern end of SC to Northen end of GC ? Is it possible by train or is that too much faffing around ??

not sure of trains on south sunny coast, but there are stations at Caboolture, so presumably so..

By car, I would allow.. 2.5 hrs and thats at busy time.

Dont forget until 2011 we have the luxury of slooooow traffic on the bruce ( gateway ) due to the second bridge being constructed.

I go from dayboro to kingston each day, which is about 60k ( country rd clear driving less ) and i can do that in about 1 hr 30
