Summer Vacation Care on the Gold Coast?
Does anyone know of any School holiday vacation care programmes on the Gold Coast? I know there is the PCYC in Broadbeach but surely there must be more. I have Googled this without any luck. We live at Mermaid Waters and I work at Broadbeach so need it to be fairly close by.
This is what I hate most about being a fulltime working mum with a husband that is now working overseas......School Holiday care!!! We have no family here and that makes it all the more difficult. My son has just turned 12 so is too young to spend all day at home on his own.
Does anyone else face this problem during school holiday time? I am taking 3 wks off from late Dec to mid Jan but that still does not cover the whole summer holidays.
Would love to know how others new to the area and without family close and who work fulltime cope with school age kids and school holidays when they come up.

So no one else is ever in the same predicament here?
