For STNI:

- Basic requirements (including work experience) are the same as for
mainstream skilled independent

- You only need the pool mark, which is 70 points rather than 115

BUT - you need to get a state nomination. These are not given
automatically!

Recent work experience requirements are less if you apply for Skill
Matching directly.

[Hi,I was advised when applying that duel skilling was frowned upon when it comes to skill set.I am an electrician but have worked with cat5 and fibre optic,also air conditioning but was told not to mention them as you would have spent less time on your nominated skill.I realise this is slightly different but is it?
