Default which suburb In Perth??

At least i think they're called suburbs!! Any Perthonians out there could give me direction on places like Rockingham, Cannong Vale, Casurina, Parmelia, Warnbro.
Not asking much am I??!!!
I'm after good schools, quiet'ish neighbourhood and good access to everything, if a hospital nearby - that would be a bonus!
Can't find any suburb maps anywhere......Please help

Hi! and welcome!

Check this site out:
http://www.aussiemove.com/ and click on Perth.

And yes, they're called suburbs, and theres more than 200 of them!

It's very difficult saying which ones are good/bad etc, but I'm sure people living there can at least say something about their own suburb, but it's still of course very personal.
My advice is to stay in a rental in the beginning and then look around.

Also, type in 'perth suburbs' into the search box at the top of the page, and you'll most probably get heaps of results!

Good luck!

Simone

P.S. It's Canning Vale

Hi
Try Waterstones or any good book shop for a USB (I think thats the lettering) map of Perth. We got one there.
Try this link for recent info- http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...&pagenumber=2.

hi there,

it is difficult to say which areas are best...depends on what you want!
we were open minded when we arrived..looked around different suburbs and then decided. we like it here in port kennedy...but are still open to moving again if things dont pan out....

good luck
