Could someone please let me know if there is a site like "upmystreet" (a site that gives you information on suburbs etc in the UK) for australia???

I'm not sure about elsewhere, but for Brisbane there
are various sites that give suburb profiles.

http://www.homeownerscard.com.au/

Also if you use the following estate agent

http://www.property.com.au/real_esta...rch/index.html

and search for houses, some of the house details will then take
you into a suburb profile/demographics. I haven't yet worked out how to get to these directly.

If you're interested in Brisbane I've also created a spreadsheet
with a lot of information about various suburbs which I can send
to you if you e-mail/PM be your true address as e-mailing via this
forum doesn't allow Excel attachments.
